It is official, I started blogging one year ago today.
Did I think I could do it?
Mmmmm….wasn’t sure. My fear was that I’d run out of things to say. Truth is I’m finding that I have plenty to say, I just don’t have the time to write it all down.
I thought it was necessary to share this because I wanted to provide you with proof of something significant. We all have things in our lives that we would like to try. And yet, for most us, a number of things hold us back: fear, doubt, guilt, and uncertainty – or any combination thereof.
When I started KnowledgeMaven, I second guessed myself on everything. I needed reassurance on anything I wrote. Part of the guessing was that I wanted to ensure that I shared more than musings, it was vitally important that I share part of me while I inspired …empowered… and encouraged you at the same time. Did I do that?
As I reviewed my first blog entry, I recall what I was thinking that day. I wanted to share the fundamental and timeless message that we can choose who and what we want to be. Also, the timing of the blog was essential too; I felt it was vital that I did not wait until January to start writing. I was getting over a procrastination hump and decided to do it. Win. Lose. Or Fail.
So what about you? Have you done something this past year that you are proud of? Are you putting something off until the New Year? Why not start today?
Thanks for the love and support everyone.
